Torches exhibited rust within a short time. The piece that hold the wick and acts as the cover for the fuel reservoir is very unstable. I do not recommend these for anyone who plans to simply stake them into the grass/yard. I have these installed in custom bases to prevent tipping and spilling.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
